Dota 2 Update – March 3rd, 2017

  • – Added an in-game hero inspection panel.
  • – Teleport destination effects now show a visual indicator of the teleporting hero.
  • – The maximum rank new accounts can calibrate to has been lowered.
  • – Fixed a bug with item right-click menus sometimes requiring two clicks.
    For this weekend we are testing some changes to matchmaking:

  • – Parties can only play in unranked matches.
  • – Ranked matchmaking no longer has Captain’s Mode or Random Draft.
  • – Unranked All Pick now follows the same picking order as Ranked All Pick.

Winter Treasure III is now available, featuring new item sets for Gyrocopter, Weaver, Nyx Assassin, Windranger, Razor, Naga Siren, and Chen, as well as the chance to unlock a Very Rare Rubick set or Extremely Rare Dragon Knight set.

The 7.1.5 PTR has been active for many weeks now, and a popular request we’ve gotten at Wowhead is to present an overview of the class changes from Patch 7.1 to 7.1.5, aka “unofficial patch notes.” Every week Wowhead posts a list of the datamined changes from each 7.1.5 PTR update, but some players would also like to see the changes from the past few months to get an overall sense of how the classes evolve.

7.1.5 PTR: Tavern Crawl Micro-Holiday

The Kirin Tor Tavern Crawl is now open for testing on the PTR! This event is a micro-holiday; it will last for a short period of time and have no “must have” rewards, but will pay tribute to an aspect of Azeroth’s culture.

Event Description: The mages of Azeroth like to relax, too. Hop into a portal at your local watering hole and join the Tavern Crawl!

Start this event by finding the mage Tipsi Wobblerune outside your faction’s Inn in Legion Dalaran. Speak to the Mage to be taken to an Inn around Azeroth!
